snarkyprincess: (Concerned)
Summer wanted to work on her tan, something that was difficult to do in San Francisco. So she thought returning to Newport for a few days was a good idea. At least she thought this until she walked into her room. She was so started by what she saw that she let out a yelp.

"What's wrong, what's going on?!" Taylor shouted, barreling into her room with what looked like a gun.

"Omigod, you have a gun in my house?!"

"Summer?" Taylor blinked. "Wasn't expecting you. And don't worry, it's just a flare gun."

"Why would you...never mind," Summer said, shaking her head. Because honestly, Taylor owning a flare gun was very...Taylor. "Why is there a giant cardboard cutout of some cartoon character in my room?"

"Comic book character," Taylor corrected. "That's Little Miss Vixen from Atomic County. I got it at Comic Con for you. And an action figure."

"Atomic County? Isn't that the comic Cohen created that, like, failed spectacularly." And why did she remember that?

Taylor shrugged. "It's got a small cult following. And, I don't know, it's cute, don't you think?"

"She looks trashy," Summer replied, making a face.

Taylor raised an eyebrow, and it seemed like she wanted to say something. Summer wasn't quite sure why her friend opted to remain speechless, but she was going to enjoy the silence while it lasted.

[I had to!]
snarkyprincess: (Confused)
Summer was once again enjoying a morning of sunning on the beach. Once again, she was greeted by an unexpected visitor in her room when she got back.

Wherein Summer meets something of sentimental value. )

[ooc: Establishy, but open for phone calls and such! Really could not resist using this PB!]
snarkyprincess: (Shocked)
The one thing Summer missed about Newport whenever she was away was the beach. She was pretty determined to get as much sunbathing time in as she could before she'd make the movie to San Francisco. Today was no exception.

Cut for length and bit of canon )

[ooc: establishy. much of the dialog taken from the season four episodes "The Gringos" and "The Cold Turkey," with a few changes]
snarkyprincess: (Huh?)
Summer was packing for her trip home for Christmas. Chris would be going with her and meeting her dad and her Newport friends. She was really trying not to fret and think too much about it.

There were enough what-ifs floating in her mind... )

Summer blinked when the moment was over and shuddered, a look of horror on her face. She was kind of glad she never found out who exactly she might have been engaged to.

[ooc: For the BF-roomie type person! IAWL moment and dialogue completely stolen from "The Chrismukk-huh?"]
snarkyprincess: (Bunny Cuddles)
Summer was moping just a little. She didn't want to face Chris after everything, at least not right away. Yet, here she was in the dorm room they shared. She was sitting on her bed, anticipating his return eventually. There was a bunny in her arms that she was cuddling. It made things a little less stressful.

She figured they'd get through this, but there was a small part of her that feared they couldn't.
snarkyprincess: (Intrigued)
Summer had been a little thoughtful about things since her conversation with Chris yesterday. She had said a few things that surprised her. Ever since, she started over analyzing things. He was her roommate and best friend. Nothing more. So why was she so confused about her feelings?

She tried to watch her Valley DVDs as a distraction, but the teen melodrama only made her more confused.

She sighed and stared at the ceiling. There could be answers there, right?

[ooc: Expecting a few people, but open.]
snarkyprincess: (Lazy)
Summer wasn't sure how she was feeling when she woke up. Sad that she and Shawn had decided to break up, glad they could still be friends, and relieved that they had finally talked about things.

Even though this was probably for the best, she was still planning to spend the day moping and possibly marathoning The Valley DVDs. She had no idea that those plans would likely be interrupted.

[ooc: for a specific wee one, but also open to anyone!]
snarkyprincess: (Tired)
When summer returned to her room after a crazy weekend in Newport Beach, the first thing she did was send some emails to friends back home letting them know she had gotten back to Fandom safely. The second thing she did was bang her head repeatedly against the desk.

Cut for season four spoilers )

[ooc: open!]
snarkyprincess: (Bitch Please)
Summer couldn't believe it. Of all the stupid things her roommate could have done, inviting Johnny and Savannah over to watch movies had to be high on the list.

She'd spent most of the day bitching at Chris about this. Seriously, what had he been thinking?

They were totally watching whatever she wanted. Oh yes.

[ooc: for the people mentioned in the post.]
snarkyprincess: (Seriously?)
Summer still hadn't heard from Shawn and was growing increasingly more concerned. She even considered asking Chris to orb her to Seattle. If she doesn't hear from him by the weekend, she might just do that. For now, she just sent another email, hoping there would be a response this time.

She was also annoyed after hearing the announcements earlier. No way was she going to let some crazy lady separate her and Chris. Not without losing her temper and possibly having a rage blackout...

[ooc: mostly establishly, but open.]
snarkyprincess: (Contemplative)
Summer slept pretty well. Considering she had things like gremlins and bad karaoke to worry about, this was quite an accomplishment.

Yesterday had been busy, though. The welcome party had been just a bit overwhelming. At least her Big Brother had seemed nice enough. He even gave her a list of some of strange things about this town. And she met Alanna and a talking cat. Then she met Jaye who has a talking toaster. She seemed normal, too. Billy and Cally seemed nice as well. But the most memorable? Alec and his shirtlessness. That was enough to convince her to stay even though she could get attacked by a gremlin or snow monster at any time.

She still wondered if she should ever mention any of this stuff to her friends at home, though. They'd probably think she was insane. And that can only do bad things to her social life.
