Summer was on her bed staring at the ceiling as she listened to a voicemail message from Seth. She rolled her eyes as she listened to him go on an on about his boring job at the comic book store. She sort of half smiled when he was adamant about not being worried about her. She sighed when he told her she should call and let everyone back home know she's okay.

That would defeat the purpose of trying to avoid things at home. That was why Summer erased the message and resumed the staring contest with the ceiling.

Summer's Fourth of July was spent with her Newport friends on the beach watching fireworks and hanging out. A year ago, she wouldn't have even noticed Seth Cohen. This year, she was hanging out with him and Ryan and Marissa. And she actually had a good time. She was also glad to see Marissa and Ryan over the whole on again off again thing as that was really annoying. Last night, they seemed to be happy.

But that would soon change... )

[ooc: warning for depressing subject matter behind the cut; if any of you are familiar with the S3 finale, you know what to expect. Otherwise, beware of spoilers. NFB due to distance. Not for interaction, though ooc comments are always welcome.]
snarkyprincess: (Depressed)
Summer was in a very strange mood. She was feeling kind of depressed for what seemed like no reason at all. At the moment, she had her laptop open in front of her. She missed her friends back home. Emailing them seemed like a good idea.

Dear Seth )

Dear Marissa )

Summer wasn't feeling any better. And she'd probably have a lot of questions to answer later. Maybe emailing her friends while feeling emo wasn't the best idea ever.
