Room 306, Sunday Afternoon

Summer was currently going through her closet, deciding what to pack for a trip home. Her dad insisted she go home during the break between sessions, so she wouldn't miss any of her workshops. A week wouldn't be so bad. Besides, she did miss her dad and her Newport friends.

Of course, being Summer, she'd probably end up packing more than what was needed.

Summer laughed as she threw a shirt into a suitcase. "I'm lucky to have such a smart roommate."

"And don't you forget it," Chris said. "No deciding that home is more fun."

"That would never happen," Summer said. "After being here as long as I have, home would never be the same."

"Good. I'd miss your coffee too much if you left," Chris teased.

Chris laughed. "How about I make a pot now so you can have some fuel to finish your packing?"
