Today was Summer's birthday. Moving in yesterday handwavily with Chris in a future San Francisco was one of the best decisions she ever made. She couldn't think of a better present.

She also couldn't help but think about how old she would actually be in this future. It kind of made her head hurt.

"Hi K-Mart," Summer grinned, recognizing her voice. "How've you been?"

"Meh, not bad," K-Mart said. "Mostly I've been worrying about Savannah, but that's the only big thing in my life right now. And she seemed happier after she came back from Vegas. Or at least in a little better frame of mind."
