Room 306, Wednesday

Summer looked around the room, which was now almost completely empty. Most of her stuff had already been shipped to her house in Newport. She still had a few things to pack up, but for the most part, she was all set to leave Fandom. She was really going to miss the place she called home for nearly three years.

"Are you ready to go?" she said to the bunny she was holding. She could swear Pancakes' nose twitches indicated she was not ready to leave.

Summer knew that feeling.

"I'm really not liking this," Savannah said softly as she came in and leaned against the door. She was holding two packages in her hands.

Summer gave her a sad smile. "I know. I'm going to keep in touch, though. I promise."

"You better, because I really don't know what I'm going to do without having you right here."

"You know you can call me anytime, right?" Summer told her.

"I have unlimited long distance on my cell," she said softly. "I'm just going to miss my best friend."

She handed Summer the packages. "One of these is for you and one for Chris. They're paintings of us and the kids." She smiled sadly. "You, Chris, Johnny and Phyre, Dalton, Amber, Storm and Kristofer."

Summer glanced at her painting and could feel tears starting to form. She managed to keep it together, though. "Savannah, this is amazing. Thank you."

She was feeling kind of emotional right now. "I'll make sure Chris gets this."

She was having a hard time keeping her emotions in check. "I... I wanted you to have something to remember me by that no one else could give you. And, well..."

Words, Savannah. People use them to express things.

"It means a lot to me," Summer said, looking at the painting again.

"I'm glad."

"I'm gonna miss being here," Summer admitted. "And I'm gonna miss you so much."

There was an amused grin on her face, though. "Considering how things started for us, I'm amazed we ended up as friends. Best friends, even."

"Yeah, that wasn't the best start." Savannah nodded. "I'm glad that no matter how we started out, we did end up becoming best friends, Summer. I can't imagine having gone through some of the stuff here without you sharing the events, too."

"And just because I'm leaving Fandom, that doesn't mean I won't still be there for you," Summer said. "I hope you know that."

Savannah nodded, trying to keep it together, but her eyes were filling with tears. "I know, but I'm going to miss you so much, Summer."

Summer's eyes were finally filling with tears, too. "I'm gonna miss you, too. A lot."

She moved closer to pull her friend into a hug.

Savannah was all too willing to hug Summer tightly. "If you need me, you call me, too, okay?"

"I will," Summer said. "Definitely. You might get a lot of text messages, too."

Savannah nodded. "Any time, I mean it, Summer. You'll probably get lots of messages, too."

Summer felt this moment required another hug. "You take care, Savannah."

"You, too," Savannah whispered as she hugged her best friend.

"I'll see you later." Because she refused to say goodbye.

Savannah nodded, not able to talk because she would really start crying.

Robin had missed saying goodbye to some people, so he was spending today making sure he didn't miss too many more.

He knocked on Summer's door, hoping he wasn't too late.

Summer opened the door and smiled. "Hey, Robin."

"Hi Summer! I'm glad I didn't miss you. I wanted to say goodbye before people left."

"No, you didn't miss me," Summer said, glancing around the empty room. "I am leaving today, though, so you got here just in time."

Robin sighed. "Well then...goodbye. I'm gonna miss you." Even though they hadn't talked that much. "What are you going to do now?"

Summer smiled at that. "Going home for a little bit, then staying with Chris in San Francisco and going to college."

"Oh cool. I talked to Chris after graduation, he said I should come visit sometime. What school are you going to?"

"Berkeley," Summer replied. "The one in Chris's dimension."

"That would make it easier to stay with him."

K-Mart was Not Happy as she knocked at Summer's door.

"Hi K-Mart," Summer greeted when she opened the door. "Glad you stopped by."

"You really thought you'd get rid of me that easily?" K-Mart laughed, but it didn't quite manage to sound real.

"Shouldn't I be the one saying that?" Summer joked, though she did sound a bit subdued.

"But I don't wanna get rid of you." And yes, that was a pout.

Which only made Summer pout. "Awww, I wish I could stay."

"Can't we just hide you in somebody's closet?"

Summer chuckled a bit. "Wish it was that easy, but I promised I'd spend part of the summer at home."

"Boo on that," was K-Mart's decision. "It's not fair, man. Why do people have to graduate?"

"In my case, it's so I can go to college," Summer said. "I'm just really gonna miss this place."
