Room 306, Saturday Morning

Something wasn't right in room 306 this morning. Lou felt that something was a bit...weird. When she opened her eyes and spotted a guy she did not recognize, she quickly sat up, wondering how she got here. She must have made an extra good sandwich last night and he was impressed by it. Maybe that would explain why she fell asleep with a complete stranger.

She decided to be nice and make coffee for him. If they had maybe been drunk last night, it would help any lingering hangovers.

The scent of brewing coffee woke Chris up.

The oddity of this would seep in momentarily.

At the moment, he was pushing his hair back and sitting up slowly.

"Good morning," Lou said. "Just so you know, I am not usually the type who wakes up with strangers...So, uh, I don't even know your name or anything. But I made coffee!"

Chris blinked a few times.

Oh hell.

"I'm Chris," he said. "You are?"

Obviously not his girlfriend.

"Nice to meet you, Chris," Lou said, smiling. "I'm Lou. And I'm also kind of confused."

"Yeah, well, I'll try to explain, but you'll probably want some coffee first."

Chris got out of bed, pulled on a pair of jeans and walked over to pour a cup for himself.

Lou held a cup up. "I already have some. Did we happen to drink a lot last night? I don't really feel that hung over."

Chris rubbed his temples. "No, no drinking. You're going to think I'm crazy, but you're not really supposed to be here. You look exactly like my girlfriend, Summer, and we go to this school where weird things like this happen sometimes."

"I look like your girlfriend?" Lou blinked. "Huh. I don't think I have a cousin named Summer or a long lost twin or anything."

"You probably don't," Chris said. "There's a lot of weird things like doppelgangers that happen around here."

Lou stared at him. "Are you a big fan of sci-fi or something? I knew a guy like that once."

"No, it's... yeah, I know it's a lot to ask, but trust me, okay?" Chris asked.
