Halliwell Manor, Monday Night

After a long day of classes, one in which she had a test, Summer didn't feel like doing anything that required much thinking. Which is why, at the moment, she was sitting on the couch with her laptop watching the latest guilty pleasure she downloaded when she visited Newport a few weeks ago. It was the one about the girls who lied all the time and were being stalked by a letter through text messaging. Or something. She didn't much care. It was a good excuse to shut her brain off for an hour. She had lost interest in Rumor Gal awhile ago. This was a suitable replacement.

She did find it slightly disturbing that one of the mothers on the show reminded her of Chris's mom. That was scary. Still, she would watch intently while eating ice cream. A perfect combination.

Halliwell Manor, Friday

Some people might be wary of this day. Not Summer. She was confident that her birthday would be anything but unlucky. She made sure of it as she spent the day shopping and going to the spa. She'd gotten phone calls from her dad and from Taylor, both promising a birthday dinner next time she was in Newport. The awesome day ended with a nice, quiet dinner with Chris. A perfect ending in her opinion.

[can be open for the housemates or phone calls, though expect slow play]

Newport Beach, Thursday Evening

Summer wanted to work on her tan, something that was difficult to do in San Francisco. So she thought returning to Newport for a few days was a good idea. At least she thought this until she walked into her room. She was so started by what she saw that she let out a yelp.

"What's wrong, what's going on?!" Taylor shouted, barreling into her room with what looked like a gun.

"Omigod, you have a gun in my house?!"

"Summer?" Taylor blinked. "Wasn't expecting you. And don't worry, it's just a flare gun."

"Why would you...never mind," Summer said, shaking her head. Because honestly, Taylor owning a flare gun was very...Taylor. "Why is there a giant cardboard cutout of some cartoon character in my room?"

"Comic book character," Taylor corrected. "That's Little Miss Vixen from Atomic County. I got it at Comic Con for you. And an action figure."

"Atomic County? Isn't that the comic Cohen created that, like, failed spectacularly." And why did she remember that?

Taylor shrugged. "It's got a small cult following. And, I don't know, it's cute, don't you think?"

"She looks trashy," Summer replied, making a face.

Taylor raised an eyebrow, and it seemed like she wanted to say something. Summer wasn't quite sure why her friend opted to remain speechless, but she was going to enjoy the silence while it lasted.

[I had to!]

Newport Beach, Friday Evening

Though Summer was very happy living at the Halliwell Manor in future San Francisco, it was also good for her to return to her roots every now and then. That, and Taylor sort of begged her to visit for the weekend. Apparently Taylor missed her a lot. Summer did not doubt that was true, though she also believed Taylor was having another crisis and needed some advice.

It was also a good excuse for Taylor and Chris to hang out a little. Summer really wanted them to get along. It was just a shame Julie and Kaitlin, who were still living in the Roberts' mansion, had to go to Riverside for some family thing. Summer could almost hear Kaitlin complaining about it.

It was good to be home. Summer even missed Taylor's rambling. She'd probably change her mind in a few hours.

Halliwell Manor, Thursday

Today was Summer's birthday. Moving in yesterday handwavily with Chris in a future San Francisco was one of the best decisions she ever made. She couldn't think of a better present.

She also couldn't help but think about how old she would actually be in this future. It kind of made her head hurt.

Newport Beach, Saturday Morning

Summer was once again enjoying a morning of sunning on the beach. Once again, she was greeted by an unexpected visitor in her room when she got back.

Wherein Summer meets something of sentimental value. )

Newport Beach, Wednesday Afternoon

The one thing Summer missed about Newport whenever she was away was the beach. She was pretty determined to get as much sunbathing time in as she could before she'd make the movie to San Francisco. Today was no exception.

Cut for length and bit of canon )

Newport Beach, Thursday

It was a beautiful day in Orange County, perfect for a high school graduation.

In which Summer is excited for her friends... )

Room 306, Wednesday

Summer looked around the room, which was now almost completely empty. Most of her stuff had already been shipped to her house in Newport. She still had a few things to pack up, but for the most part, she was all set to leave Fandom. She was really going to miss the place she called home for nearly three years.

"Are you ready to go?" she said to the bunny she was holding. She could swear Pancakes' nose twitches indicated she was not ready to leave.

Summer knew that feeling.

[This is Summer's goodbye post. Feel free to mod phone calls or just wander by if you'd like your character to say goodbye. This is the last chance to do so.]

Room 306, Wednesday Afternoon

Summer was currently on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. She was sort of mopey because, by this time next week, she was likely going to be finishing up some last minute packing before leaving the island.

At least she had graduation to look forward to. Still, she had been here nearly three years. She didn't even want to think about all the goodbyes. She just wasn't good at goodbyes.

"Least I don't have to say it to you," Summer told Pancakes, who was sitting beside her. The bunny just twitched her nose in response.

Room 306, Monday Afternoon

Summer was sitting on a blanket on the floor with the kids. She had ordered Chinese food because that was a lot safer than anything she would try to cook.

"Can I talk to Daddy soon?" Amber asked.

"Yes."

"Mama, can I use magic? Mommy wouldn't let me last night," Dalton told her.

"No!"

Those were some of the conversations that could be heard in Room 306 this afternoon.

Room 306, Saturday Morning

Summer was awake early. Immediately, she noticed that she was alone. Which meant no one to tell what to do. Which meant she could have cookies for breakfast if she wanted!

Of course, she couldn't reach the fridge. There were desk chairs in the room, though, and she could totally stand on one so she could reach. But she was distracted by the bunny in the cage.

"Hi, bunny, hi hi!" she squealed, taking her out of the cage.

She was being very careful and gentle.

Room 306, Tuesday Afternoon

Summer was really determined to find the bitch who hurt Chris. She was hoping Savannah and Eve's locator spell would lead them exactly where they needed to go to find her.

Meanwhile, she and Savannah made a few phone calls. They needed to get a search party formed. She couldn't do this alone.

Room 306, Monday

Summer was kind of exhausted today because Lou decided to spend most of yesterday on the mainland shopping for deli meats and cheeses. That was not exactly the kind of shopping Summer was used to. Her shopping sprees usually ended with multiple pairs of shoes and purses added to her collection. It usually didn't end with all sorts of deli meats in the mini fridge.

Looks like she and Chris would be eating a lot of sandwiches in the next few days. At least there was some extra lettuce for Pancakes. This place never got any less strange.

Room 306, Saturday Morning

Something wasn't right in room 306 this morning. Lou felt that something was a bit...weird. When she opened her eyes and spotted a guy she did not recognize, she quickly sat up, wondering how she got here. She must have made an extra good sandwich last night and he was impressed by it. Maybe that would explain why she fell asleep with a complete stranger.

She decided to be nice and make coffee for him. If they had maybe been drunk last night, it would help any lingering hangovers.

[ooc: Summer is now Lou the sandwich maker from a few season one episodes of Chuck. Also? For the other occupant of the room!]

Room 306, Sunday

The party last night had been fun and slightly awkward, and all Summer wanted to do was relax today. The first phone call she had gotten today was not a good way to start. It left her feeling annoyed, which was evident when she hit redial.

The next call just pissed her off, so she left a rather nasty message in response.

She probably should have realized something wasn't right here. Oh well.

Room 306, Sunday Evening

Summer was packing for her trip home for Christmas. Chris would be going with her and meeting her dad and her Newport friends. She was really trying not to fret and think too much about it.

There were enough what-ifs floating in her mind... )

Summer blinked when the moment was over and shuddered, a look of horror on her face. She was kind of glad she never found out who exactly she might have been engaged to.

Room 306, Saturday Late Morning

When Summer woke up in the morning to find Pancakes missing from her cage, she immediately went into panic mode. She looked under the bed, in the closet, in the drawers, and even in the shower. But she was gone. Vanished. Completely missing.

She was about to ask Chris to orb her around the dorms in search for her when a familiar face walked into the room.

"Hello, Summer," a human Pancakes greeted her, holding up two cups of coffee. "I went to the coffee shop while you were still asleep. You still like caffeine, correct?"

Summer just stared. "Pancakes? You're person-shaped again?"

Pancakes smiled. "I am, indeed."

There was only one thing Summer could say at the moment. "I didn't do it this time!"

Room 306, Monday Evening

Summer was moping just a little. She didn't want to face Chris after everything, at least not right away. Yet, here she was in the dorm room they shared. She was sitting on her bed, anticipating his return eventually. There was a bunny in her arms that she was cuddling. It made things a little less stressful.

She figured they'd get through this, but there was a small part of her that feared they couldn't.
