Room 306, Saturday Morning

Summer was sitting on her bed, flipping through a gossip magazine she'd brought with her from home. Though the gossip from this year was intriguing, she still preferred to know what was going on with all the famous people back in her dimension.

She was waiting impatiently for the pot of coffee she'd started to finish. She'd never made coffee on her own before, so this would be an interesting experiment.

She probably should have just gone to The Perk.

Chris entered the room from the bathroom. His hair was damp and he was wearing jeans and a tee-shirt, but his feet were bare. He leaned under the bed and pulled out a large green book and sat on the bed to start reading.

"You're making coffee?" he asked, glancing nervously in Summer's direction. "That's nice."
