Room 306, Tuesday Afternoon

Summer was lying on her bed, snuggling Pancakes and possibly sulking. She'd been avoiding being in her room lately. Chris surely must know about her fight with Savannah.

She probably told anyone she could that Summer was an evil psycho bitch. Summer didn't care. She did what she thought was right to protect one of her friends. Okay, maybe she did care a little what people thought of her. Also, she didn't want Savannah to set her on fire or something. That would suck.

It was times like this when she really wished Shawn was here.

Chris was, in fact, still exceptionally confused by what he'd heard from Wyatt and Summer had been avoiding him, so he hadn't been able to get a straight answer.

So he did what any self-respecting teenager with teleporting abilities would do. He orbed in unexpectedly so she couldn't hide.

"Summer," he greeted. "We need to talk."

Summer wasn't even sure where to begin. "I went to talk to Savannah about this thing she has going on with Johnny and it kinda got a little more heated than I had planned."

Her intentions were sweet, even if her execution was poor and Chris gave her a tiny smile. "I appreciate the thought, Summer," he said. "But Savannah thinks there's something going on between us now."

Chris nodded. "And you're definitely one of my best friends. Which is why I got so confused. I mean, yeah, I wouldn't want to see anyone hurt you either. But Wyatt said you attacked her."

"Things escalated, like I said," Summer explained. "I went there to talk to her and then...we just really got into it. I don't even know how it happened. We ended up fighting each other."

"I'm fine, yeah," Summer said. "And god no. I mean, you're a great guy and all, but you're my friend. That's all. Besides, I'm very happy with Shawn."

She looked down sadly. "I just don't want any more of my friends getting hurt...after Marissa..."

"Oh, Summer," Chris said, moving over to sit next to her. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "I'm sorry. I understand. But trust me, nothing like that is going to happen to me."
