After taking care of some plotty stuff still in progress things, Summer rushed back to her room to set up for the slumber party.

Annette sort of limped in, but she was smiling and in her jammies. In her arms she carried her sleeping bag, pillow, and the plushie Dick had given her.

Annette grinned. She could always talk about Dick. "He's good. His birthday's tomorrow so I thought I would throw a little common room party for him."

Marie frowned a little when she noticed that Annette was limping. "You okay?" she asked.

Annette did just that, comfortably with her legs out in front of her. "How's things been going lately?"

"Little busy," Marie said. "But pretty good. You?"

"The same, but mostly because I make myself busy." Which might sound strange. "Been good too. Pretty much. Studying for tests and stuff."

"Yeah, I totally understand that," Marie said. "Classes have been crazy busy lately."

"I know. And there was a lot to cover in Conflict Management last week, a lot of reading. I don't think I have War of the Tulips quite down pat yet. Which means I will be doing a lot of studying tomorrow."

"Good," she said, smiling. "I sprained my ankle yesterday. It's feeling better though and should be good as new in just a couple days."

"Yeah, painkillers really help." She smiled. "So, there are good movies to watch tonight?"

"My stepmonster lives on painkillers," Summer said absently. "Er, anyway. Movies. We have chick flicks of course. And movies that feature hot shirtless guys."

Annette raised her brows, "...I've taken two? One yesterday, one today. I'm not going to live on them at all. Promise."

She perked at that, "Shirtless hot guys is always a win!"
