"The hell?" Getting up, she did her little limp number over to him and reached for his hand. "I'm right here. Annette. Um, sorry you can't see and what the holy crap is up with that?" Cause surely he couldn't be responsible for Cally's spell, could he?

"That is so strange. Cally woke up not being able to talk." She paused. "Wouldn't happen to know anything about that would you?" Annette stuck her tongue out at him just to make sure he was telling the truth.

"That so? So you don't know how to do, uh, I don't know, spells or anything like that? And you uh, aren't mad at her for anything right now in particular? That might include Anders and, uh, certain video making equipment?"

Annette gasped, "That is a terrible thing to say, Wyatt. And your face is all scrunched up ugly like that. I know you can't see it right now, but take my word for it. Stop it."

She folded her arms across her chest. "And you can't see because you are a glaring psychoprick who just doesn't need to see, ever? Er, sorry, just taking a stab in the dark here."

"Frak you back," Annette said, though much softer, and with less conviction. "I have no idea what she said about you but since your pretty frakking pissed it must be pretty bad. And? Since you are being so mean to me it doesn't look so good in your favor. Seriously. You got a chip dude and it isn't me. Geeze. I'm just trying to be helpful here." Pause. "Oh, do you want something to drink or anything? I could get it for you?"

"She's totally obsessed with her ex-boyfriend and is spreading lies about him and me," Wyatt sighed. "She's totally nuts, like about to boil a bunny nuts. How would you like it if she was telling people lies about who you were sleeping with?"

Hrm. "Yeah, that could be a problem. Course I'm not a sleeper-around sort of person. Anders is like...well, he's like, he just likes to have sex I think, but most of it is not his fault." Which totally did not sound right. "Cally would never boil a bunny. Or use a knife in a bathtub sort of scary situation thing." Yeah, she'd seen that movie.

Okay, this wasn't going so well. "Cally loves Mac. I'm sure of it."

"Yeah?" Wyatt said. "Well, then she should leave Anders alone. And me. We're not sleeping together, and even if we were, it's none of her damn business. Making up crap about him is way out of line."
