After taking care of some plotty stuff still in progress things, Summer rushed back to her room to set up for the slumber party.

Chick Flicks? Check.

Movies featuring shirtless boys? Check.

"Yay for slumber party, huh?" Willow said. "It's a good little something to help ease the pain that before we know it classes will be over."

"Horrible, isn't it?" Willow said. "I mean the summer workshops were very nice, but we don't get graded for those."

Turtle blinked at Willow a few times before pressing her palms into her forehead because she felt like maybe her brain broke a tiny bit. "You're saying that classes ending is horrible?"

She was just making sure she wasn't going crazing and hearing things, and that the crazy was really all Willow.

Turtle staaared, followed by a slight flail. "How can you say that? Classes suck!"

There was a pause. "Okay, maybe not all of them. Science! is pretty cool, and Lyman is fun, and creative writing is actually being profitable..."

She gasped, hand to her mouth. "Omigawd, you're right! This is horrible!"

"This is what I'm saying!" Willow said. "No classes, no reports, no homework, no grades!! We don't even get check plus pluses over the summer!"

"How does the whole summer thing work, anyway?" The more she thought about it, the more Turtle realized that having to return home to boring ol' Westingtown might be creeping up sooner than she imagined.

"I don't know how they're doing it this summer," Willow admitted. "But last summer they had workshops that we could take. Plus we got to live in cabins from time to time."

"Very much like it," Willow said. "Let's see - there was cooking, magic, computers, survival tactics, Scoobying - a good mix of things that were workshoppy."

"That's always worked for me the few times my mom has questioned what I've been doing," Willow said. "Filling up the ol' college application gets you many free nights to do things like help hunt vampires."

...Could you shoot vampires? she wondered to herself. Because that'd be at least one use for her gun...
