"Oh, you know, same old, same old," Marie said. "Helped keep Gwynn from getting kidnapped today. You?"

"Nothing as cool as helping someone keep from getting kidnapped," Turtle admitted, flopping down somewhere comfortable. "Some of my stocks went up, though, which is always good."

"That is good," Marie agreed. "I don't know anything about the stock market. How did you learn?"

Turtle shrugged. "It was just kind of something I picked up when I was bored. Just kind of tracked it until just recently, when I finally had money to invest it in."

"Huh," Marie said. "I have a little bit of money, do you think I should try investing it?"

"Well, duh," Turtle said with a small snort. "Unless you want to go the boring route and just put it in a saving's account, but that has no fun, or excitement. And the possible gains from the market surpass anything you'd ever get from interest."

Turtle's mouth twisted a little. So many people around here wanting stock advice and she was actually feeling some sort of...sorority bond that made her feel almost a little guilty about charging Marie for it.

...Almost.

"We-elll," she said, slowly, "most people charge for that sort of help. But, since we're sisters and all, I can give you a discounted price..."
