Halliwell Manor, Thursday

Today was Summer's birthday. Moving in yesterday handwavily with Chris in a future San Francisco was one of the best decisions she ever made. She couldn't think of a better present.

She also couldn't help but think about how old she would actually be in this future. It kind of made her head hurt.

Almost anyone else and she would have lied. However, she found that she couldn't lie to Summer about something like that. She also knew if she tried to avoid the question, it would make her friend that more determined to get the truthful answer.

It saved time to just answer when she first asked.

"I'm getting better," she said quietly. "Seeing you last week really helped me start."

"I'm glad I could help in some way," Summer said quietly. "And you know you can call or visit anytime. I'll be here."
