Halliwell Manor, Thursday

Today was Summer's birthday. Moving in yesterday handwavily with Chris in a future San Francisco was one of the best decisions she ever made. She couldn't think of a better present.

She also couldn't help but think about how old she would actually be in this future. It kind of made her head hurt.

"I don't know," Summer said thoughtfully. "I'm just so happy to be here with you. That's a good way to celebrate."

"Aww. Well, we could go out for dinner or something," Chris suggested.

Summer smiled. "Dinner sounds good. As long as you are there."

"Got a craving for anything in particular?" Chris asked.

"I could go for Italian or Chinese or...anywhere that has cake," Summer replied, grinning.

Chris laughed. "Well, we could go to the bakery and get a cake. And why don't we go out for Italian? We always order in Chinese."

"Italian it is," Summer agreed. "And I never turn down anything from a bakery."

"Sounds like we have plans then," Chris said.

"Uh huh," Summer replied. "And we don't even have to deal with traffic to get there."

"Exactly," Chris said.

"Love you," Summer said, leaning closer to kiss him.

"Love you, too," Chris said, happy to oblige her with a kiss.

"So, present now or later?"

"Do you really think I am going to say later?" Summer smirked. She was a big fan of presents.

"I didn't think so," Chris said. "But sometimes you surprise me."

He pulled a small box out of his pocket and handed it to her. "Happy birthday."

Summer opened the box and looked at at her gift in awe. "Oh, Chris. This is beautiful. Thank you."

He got another kiss just for that.

"Glad you like it," he said, wrapping his arms around her.

"I love it," Summer told him sincerely, snuggling closer. "And I love you."

"I love you too," Chris said. "I just hope it fits."

"Guess I'll have to try it out," Summer said, chuckling a bit. "Such a hardship."

"Dude, if you have to ask what she's craving, then I have taught you nothing," Wyatt said as he wandered by.

"Dude, shut up," Chris said. "We're talking about going out to dinner for Summer's birthday."

"Be sure to have him home by ten o'clock, Summer," Wyatt said. "No drinking or smoking, and no parking on Lover's Lane."

"Don't worry, I will have him back in one piece," Summer snickered.
