Room 306, Sunday Afternoon

Summer was currently sitting on the floor with Pancakes. She told Lana she could stop by today and visit her. The bunny was hopping around nearby, probably not really aware of what was happening.

Lana popped in. "Hi," she whispered. "Is the bunny home?"

Summer smiled. "Yes, she's right here."

Pancakes wandered over to Lana, her nose twitching.

Lana froze where she was, clasping her hands together, eyes huge. "She's beautiful," she whispered.

Summer nodded. "You can pet her if you want."

"Really?" Lana said, eyes getting even wider. She crouched down and carefully put her hand out to touch the rabbit.

"She so soft!" she whispered.

Johnny came barreling into Summer's room before he realized it wasn't his. He stopped short when that realization smacked him in the face. "Oh. Hi. I got lost."

"She is," Summer agreed. "She's very cuddly, too."

Lana giggled as the bunny sniffed at her. "I think she likes me!"

"Hi Johnny," Summer replied. "Where is your room? Maybe I can help you find it."

And that would be the bunny hopping over to Johnny.

"I think she does, too," Summer agreed, nodding.

He gasped and stared at the bunny and went to his knees so he could pet it. "You have a bunny, Summer! Awwwww! I love it! I'm buying S'vannah a puppy and we're naming it Ajax Honeymoon. My room is two.. one.. seven."

"I wish I had a bunny," Lana said wistfully. She carefully stroked one finger down the bunny's back.

"See how careful I'm being, Summer?"

"That's an...interesting name for a puppy," Summer replied. "This is Pancakes."

"I see that," Summer replied, smiling. "You want to hold her?"

"Really?" Lana breathed. "Yes, please!"

"We each picked a name so it was fair," he explained and ran his hand over the bunny's back. "Pancakes is so soft, Summer. Can I hug her if I be careful?"

"Uh huh," Summer said, lifting Pancakes off the floor. She then carefully handed her to Lana. "You just have to be very gentle."

"I promise I will," Lana assured her, taking the bunny very carefully.

She held her gently, looking down at her and then ducking her head to rub her face against the bunny's fur. "Oh, Summer! I loves her!"

"Sure you can," Summer replied. "But yes, only if you are careful."

Summer just thought that was cutest thing ever. "I'm sure she loves you, too."

Lana carefully snuggled the bunny to her, singing a little song under her breath, and totally forgetting for a moment that Summer was there. She was just too enthralled with Pancakes.

"I be very careful I promise," Johnny whispered just cause, then he scooped down to very gently pick Pancakes up and hug her to his chest. He giggled and sat down on his butt, legs straight out. "She tickles my nose."

Summer tried very hard not to 'awwww' out loud, but she may have failed at that.

Summer nodded. "She does that sometimes."
